Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association

Patriots Baseball’s Middle School Team is entering its third year of play. The goal for all levels of Patriot baseball is to develop leaders of the future with Christ-like character, using the great sport of baseball and the life lessons it teaches. While a developmental philosophy is employed in the middle school program, all decisions regarding playing time, positions played, etc. are the responsibility of the coaches. Unlike little league or recreation ball, there is no guarantee of playing time, as we teach our players to earn positions and develop baseball skills in a competitive environment during practice and games.

Practice is held 1-2x a week as soon as the weather permits in February and continues during the season depending on the game schedule. Our season typically runs from mid-March through early May with a couple of games scheduled during each week.

We play many private and public schools in the metro-Richmond and surrounding area. In the past year, we faced teams from Steward, Collegiate, Benedictine, 3D baseball in Richmond City, Prince George Middle, Walsingham Academy in Williamsburg, and Fork Union Military School.
